Blijft de inkomensongelijkheid stabiel?

Het coalitieakkoord zal volgens de doorrekening door het CPB leiden tot een zeer bescheiden afname van de inkomensongelijkheid. Enkele maatregelen uit het akkoord, waaronder de verhoging van het minimumloon, kunnen bijdragen aan een gelijkmatiger primaire erdeling, waardoor minder herverdeling nodig is om de verdeling van besteedbare inkomens ongeveer gelijk te houden. Daar staat tegenover dat het grotendeels gratis worden van de kinderopvang een denivellerend effect heeft. Hoewel veel beleid nog niet is uitgewerkt, ziet het er vooralsnog niet naar uit dat de langjarige trend van een vrijwel stabiele inkomensverdeling zal worden doorbroken.
